Welcome to the Haslemere Festival

2020 was a difficult year and we are sorry that so many of our plans had to be postponed or cancelled. However, the arrival of a vaccine has made us very optimistic for 2021.

Haslemere Arts Festival will be from 14th to 31st May, 2021. 

  • Evening Concerts include Classical, Jazz, Folk, Opera, Town Band, Choral, Dance Orchestra, Mates & Godfree
  • Weekend and Family events include Little Lumpy Cycling Sportive, the Classic Car Show, the Fun Dog Show and Julia Donaldson OBE of Gruffalo fame
  • Anniversary Talks include Gilbert White (300 years), the decoding of the Rosetta Stone (200 years), Ralph Vaughan Williams, the Mystery of the Mary Celeste (both 150 years) the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb (100 years), the Partition of India (75 years) and more
  • Weekday Topical Talks, speakers include Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt, Admiral Sir James Perowne, Rt Rev Dr Christopher Herbert
  • Military History Talks include the WWI Battle of the Somme and the WW2 Pacific battles of the Coral Sea and Midway
