Welcome to the Haslemere Festival

Since our first Festival in 2006, we have established a popular pattern of events. The main Festival is held on odd years, the Fringe Festival on even years, with the Cycling Sportive, Classic Car Show and the (new) triathlon every year.

Haslemere is a town with astonishing vitality and with a long history of supporting the arts. We have a large and varied set of local societies to appeal to every taste. These include (in starting date order): Haslemere Town Band (1837), Haslemere Educational Museum (1888), Haslemere Art Society (1894), Haslemere Players Musical Theatre Group (1905), Haslemere Musical Society (1923), HHH Concerts (1934), Haslemere Thespians (1937), Haslemere Performing Arts (1968), HDFAS (1971), Opera South (1984), Haslemere U3A (1995).

It is an objective of the Festival to give local residents and those from further afield the chance to enjoy some of this talent. I am sure you will not be disappointed.
