Cycleworks
Haslemere Town Road Races A
series of one hour road races around a three mile course starting and finishing
on the High Street. A nasty brute of a hill in Three Gates Lane will sort out
the men from the boys. Supported by both the Surrey League and the League of
Veteran Road Racers. Spectators will be treated to some furious and highly

Cycleworks
Mountain Bike Ride-out Escorted rides for beginners, with or
without their own mountain bike and not intended for experienced off-road
riders. Rides start at Lion Green, up to Hindhead Common and Gibbet Hill. Riders
will need to pre-register, explaining their experience and whether they have a
bike. All bikes will be checked beforehand and ride leaders will take account
of ability. Cycleworks, the local cycle shop, and local cycling clubs will be
leading and generally available to explain what is at hand in the area for thiswonderful sport. |

Little Lumpy Cyclo-Sportive Sportives have been a major fixture on the continent for many years and are the fastest growth area in the UK for both the enthusiastic amateur and weekend rider. There will be three routes; the Fun at 30 miles, the Challenge at 60 miles and the awesome Epic at 100 miles, all starting from the centre of Haslemere. There will be marshals, directions, feed stops, mechanical back-up and, for those who can’t quite make it, a broom wagon. Riders will be fully chipped, so your time will be recorded, with all details on the web by the next day.
