Tunnel Vision Open Day A once in a lifetime opportunity for everyone of all ages to actually walk through the 1.8 km long A3 Tunnel before it is officially open to hundreds of thousands of cars and lorries! Tickets will cover entrance to the tunnel and the park and ride bus. There will be no parking on site and no pedestrian access. Open Gardens A veritable cornucopia of glorious gardens!  Visit them in any order you like

  • Collards, Petworth Road (opposite Museum Hill).
  • Cleeves, Weydown Road (near the top, on right)
  • Bardsey, Derby Road (No 11, on South side)
  • Porch House, Farnham Lane (near the top) – plus plant sale/raffle
  • Kingsley Edge (end of Square Drive, Kingsley Green)

£7 per person – children free – inclusive of afternoon tea – with the exception of Porch House; please buy a ticket at the first garden you visit.
All in aid of the St. Bartholomew’s and St. Christopher’s charities

King James Bible Talk Following the Service, Bernard Coe (President of Haslemere Museum) will be giving a short talk on the troubled history of the English Bible and how the newly installed King James came to have it translated and published.

Opera South presents a Celebration of Children Singing All schools in Haslemere have been invited to perform a short piece of music at this stunning concert which is promoted by Opera South, who firmly believe that music and singing should form part of the national curriculum to lay the foundations for enjoyment in adult life!  Nuff said!. Hindhead Music Centre presents Music for Pleasure - Youth Concert The talented students (aged 4 to 14) at the Hindhead Music Centre are staging a concert of best known and best loved classical music, to be performed by mini-string orchestra, string ensembles, cello quartet, harp groups and some exceptionally talented young soloists.

Hear these stunning young performers at St Christopher’s Church.  Tickets: £3.00  Children £2.00

Ecumenical Tent Service on Lion Green ‘Come Together’ With one day to go before the Haslemere Festival comes to an end, why not join in a service of thanksgiving and reflection arranged by some of the Churches of Haslemere? If we are blessed with sunshine we will meet outside – so do bring along chairs/rugs and an after service picnic! – if it rains, we will meet in the Methodist Church. Why not stay on and enjoy the fun happenings on Lion Green – tickets for the Fringe can be bought on the day or in advance.

The Haslemere Fringe Festival and Classic Car Show on Lion Green In addition to the huge variety of music on the main stage and in the Marquee, there is the Haslemere Classic Car Show and Tour, together with a wide selection of stalls and children’s amusements.
