Masses of fun this Spring in Haslemere

Charter Fair in Haslemere High Street on Monday May 7th, 1pm to 5pm
The annual Charter Fair originally dates from 1394 and was revived in 1894. Come and join the enthusiastic crowd and see all the things on offer

Classic Car Tour and Show, Lion Green on Sunday May 27th
Now an annual event on the last Sunday in May, the Classic Car Tour takes in a fascinating tour of the Surrey & Sussex countyside. It is followed by the Classic Car Show and Traditional Village Fête on Lion Green that attracts well over 100 lovingly maintained 'classics'

Cycleworks Sportive on Sunday May 27th starting in Haslemere
 the route passes through the prettiest parts of the Sussex and Hampshire Weald to the South Downs at South Harting. Three levels of challenge
- the Sport (38 miles), the Challenge (50 miles) and the Epic (100 miles) -
provide something for everybody

Haslemere Fringe Festival, Lion Green on Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd June
Building on the huge success of the first Fringe in 2011 we can look forward to two days of musicians, comedians, story tellers, artists and crafts men and women in a fabulous and original programme

Queen's Diamond Jubilee on Monday June 4th
will be celebrated with a Carnival Procession starting from High Lane at 2pm and reaching Lion Green at 3 pm where the Giant Picnic takes place. On Lion Green there will be musicians celebrating every decade of the Queen's reign, stalls and fun for children as well as the Picnic (with cream scones). In the evening a torchlight procession will march to Gibbet Hill (the highest point in Waverley) for a jubilee bonfire (one of the hundreds that will be taking place that night throughout the UK)
